What are these blips?

What causes blips of colored squares to appear on the capture screen while capturing video from my camera? Thanks.

What version are you using? Are you using the trial demo? I've heard that these are in the trial as incentive to register and purchase the product. I'm not getting any blips on mine. (v2.0 registered)

Go through the items listed in our knowledgebase here:

I think you just need to enable DMA, but go through the other items on the list as well if you still have problems.
