What are these files?

What are SCN files? I seem to have several that are related to Vegas but neither the on line help or manual make any referance as to what they are. Can they be deleted?

I understand that BAK files are created automatically when Windows shuts down incorrectly. If one has to use them what do you do? Is it just a case of clicking on them & having your project open? I had assumed that they were really just another VEG file but with another extension but this apparently isn't the case since I have one BAK file that is 2.2GB. Clicking on the file in Explorer does nothing.

WHat other NLE software have you run in the past? I seem to remember [ugh!!] ViDeoWave have SCN files.

Yup - I've got Studio7 - that must have been it. Since my full migration to VV s/w, I haven't used S7 - maybe that's the SCN files you are seeing. Others may well confirm or deny their relevance to VV, which I would advice before any delete or drastic measures your are contemplating.
