What does audio track envelope thin line mean

Rich Parry wrote on 5/21/2019, 6:59 PM

The top audio track volume envelop line thickness is "normal". The lower audio track volume envelop line thickness is thin. I believe I accidentally turned something on and can't figure out how to turn it off. Playback of the channel appears to be unaffected, but I believe the "thin line" is telling me something but I don't know what.

Thanks in advance for help.

It looks like the HEIGHT of the top is bigger than the lower track.

Yeah, that's my guess as well, Vegas will auto scale some elements to better fit into the height of the tracks, so if you make one smaller, the line may get smaller as well.

Problem solved.

Changing the height of the track had no effect on the thickness of the volume envelope line. However, thanks to your encouragement, I touched (tapped) the volume envelope line and it immediately expanded to normal thickness. It appears that just touching anywhere on the line, the line thickness was refreshed and reset to normal thickness.

I don't know how the line was resized in the first place, but I now know how to fix it if it happens again.

Thanks,

Rich
