What DV converter is better, DAC-2 or Canopus?

I am rendering a VV3 project to Betacam SP. What converter will give the best results and reliability. DAC-2 or Canopus advc-100? Thanks.

I prefer the Sony DVMC-DA2, but others prefer the Canopus ADVC-100. The former is discontinued, so might be hard to find.

Check out the proMAX DA-MAX+. It inputs and outputs composite, component, and optionally SDI.
