What happened to the Vegas trimmer?

I used to be able to make a selection in the trimmer then click and drag it to the timeline. Now when I try to click and drag it clears the selection and starts creating a new one. Really frustrating considering the trimmer was always one of the great features of Vegas. The only way I seem to be able to get clips on the timeline is to "add to timeline command". Is this some new setting I need to uncheck? Thank you.

This seems to be an issue when the trimmer is on my second screen. If I keep it on the same screen as the timeline it appears to be working as I remember.

FYI, you can cycle through previous selections in the trimmer using the backspace key. Saved me a lot of time after I discovered that.

Thanks... I use that feature regularly in Sound Forge. The issue I referring to here is that trimmer if separated from the main program on screen one and placed on screen two does not operate properly.
