when trying to extract a song from a cd the percentage completed bar will go up to 100% but then this message will appear:

"an error occurred during this operation 0x800a0026 (message missing)"

and the song is not extracted from the cd. what is this error? is there any further action i can take?

i speculated that it suggests the cd is write protected because it only happens with some cd's but then it happened on a cd i had already extracted other songs from.
