What Is Hourly Rate For Videographer?

I have someone who has a real estate show on public access tv.
They make money from featuring homes for sale by real estate agents.

The way they do in now is a slide show with music and voice-over.

He asked me what I would charge him for videotaping a home, no editing at all, just tape and deliver raw footage. What should I charge hime per/hour
in Canadian funds if you can.

What format? Lighting? Dolly shots (common in real estate) *Most* shooters are day or half/day rates, with a half minimum or other minimum. $500.00 per day is pretty common for DV (in our area), but that number seems to be going down. However, if you have production gear on top of that, the rate goes up. Dollies and lights (expendables) aren't easy to carry or cheap to replace lamps, hence the higher cost.

Anywhere from $CAD700-850 per day for cameraman - about half that for a soundman if needed for the job.

My personal experience only for corporate and event videography. I imagine specialty shooting like that would demand a higher price.
