What is it Doc, and how bad?

My video is sick, and I don't know what it has! Could it be a case of the 'jaggies', an artifact, relic, remnant, interlace flicker........ :O I just don't know. I made a 3 minute video for DVD, and when I play it on my standard TV, I see that very briefly on several of the short clips (about 1 second each) there is some sort of horizontal shifting looking thing going on about two thirds of the way down the screen. It looks like the horizontal lines of the video aren't lining up right, they seem to shift sideways. Can you please help Doc ;) Thanks. Cin
PS. I had about 2 minutes of scrolling text also (which displayed fine), but took forever to render compared to video. Is that normal??? I thought rendering text should be a breeze compared to video. Thanks again.

can't you upload to youtube so we can see what is happening?

Well, depending on what you're rendering to, text could be much more taxing than video. Video is already video, so you're rendering apples to apples. Text has to be made into video before it can be rendered, so already right there is another step to be done.

Can you at least post a screen shot somewhere? Or, email it to me and i'll post it for us all to look at.

Thanks Kelly and Ivan, I don't need a Dr., I need a shrink! When I made a copy to send you, I saw the lines are caused by a golf club going through the frame at 100 mph leaving horizontal streaks :O I will send one to Kelly just to show you what I was looking at. My bad, as usual. Thank you both for taking the time to help. Take care. Cin

Cin - now THAT is about the funniest reply I've ever seen in a forum like this. What was a golf club doing flying by in your video at 100mph?!? Hahaha! It just struck me like a keystone cops kind of thing when I read that, and I couldn't help but chuckle.

Isn't video editing fun? :)
