What IS the maximum resolution of Vegas?

Hi,

I asked a question earlier about HD and the new JVC HD camera out this summer.
So, what IS the max resolution--in terms of lines--that Vegas supports. Would
it be possible to work with material from this new camera at 720i, for instance?

Vegas has no limits that you have to worry about for source material. If you had a camera that produced an AVI file at 1920x1280 60fps then Vegas would be able to edit it. The problem is getting that file into your computer, but if you have the appropriate capture application/hardware then Vegas is ready for the file.

The maximum output resolution is 800x800.

Is there any chance this will change? I want to work with files where output is larger than this.
