I'm also confused about this. I installed the script and all it gives is a search box which then launches web browser and makes the search in www.thoughtequity.com.
How can we access the "free material" which should be available for registered Vegas users? Initially I thought this to be similar feature that what is in Acid Pro, where it is more integrated with the app itself. Obviously not.
>>...do we get FREE access to the royalty free image?...
Typically, the way it works is that you can often download a reduced quality image to see how it fits into your project. You then have the oppertunity to buy it. That is how Adobe Stock Photos works. Very nice featuire.
The pictures are *not* free. That sure would be nice.

I'm referring to this (from the read me of the app):
The Sony Vegas Collection
With registered version of Acid Pro you are entitled to free loops & other material from some website (cannot remember the url, if it is even shown). AP has an integrated "browser" for accessing the site & downloading the material. Available media changes every month.
I thought this being the same, otherwise why it is named "The Sony Vegas Collection" if it is available for all registered users of the site?
And here's the blurb from the "special offer"-email:

Well, the plugin zip folder is corrupt and I do not have anything showing up in my script folder concerning Thought Equity Motion. Any ideas? I installed the demo and updated my serials. I have not installed the DVD as I assume the demo is the same?
The script is just a new front end to the search engine on the Thought Equite Motion site.
When you fire it up it gives you a dialog-box where you type in your search keywords. After you click OK, it fires up your browser (IE, Firefox, whatever is your default browser) and feeds the keywords to the site's search engine which in turn returns you the list of found items. To my understanding it does not integrate the site or the media with Vegas at all.
IMHO the script is a no brainer (not that I could write one) and you can do without it.
Thanks for the links, though. Sony could've provided us all with the info in the readme.txt.
Once you have registered, log on to the site and you should see your name at the top dead centre of the webpage. Point to it and choose "My Orders" from the drop down menu. This should give you a page where you can download the 15 free files.
