What render format to select to output H.264?

The customer wants his file in H.264. Which Render As... preset do I select to output as H.264?

I see H.261 and H.263 under QuickTime output presets, but no H.264.

h.264 is AVC.
In Vegas Pro, there is Mainconcept AVC and Sony AVC.

Hi,

I have faound in wikipedia that Main Concept AVC is able to use 4:2:2 color depth. Do You know that Sony AVC is able to do the same ?

Thanks. I discovered the Sony AVC and tried it. Takes about 15 minutes to render 5 seconds of video on my sad old P4.

The MainConcept AVC takes a bit longer.

Old time linear editor: "I'm blacking a tape." Modern equivalent is "I'm rendering."
