Hi! SF People!
We talked about a masterfader or routing the busses into a
Masterbus.
SF's joell(support)told me that he gives the input to the
developers and said maybe in the release VA2.0 the feature
of a masterfader is included.
Can you help me and motivate SF to develope this
Masterfader!!
Thanx veryvery much

This is one I'd really like to see as well.

Actually, when I was investigating DAW software, I checked out the
samplitude newsgroup (a program with some great features, but the
most convoluted interface I've seen). One of their users had set up a
website where samplitude users could vote on the fixes/new features
they most wanted to see in the upcoming release. First he took
nominations for what should be included in the list, then set up a
site where people could vote. Sekd then responded to the list, and I
believe a number of the suggestions were incorporated into the next
release, or given a time table or explanation. It's one thing when a
few posters on a newsgroup ask about a new feature, another when 40
out of 50 people vote for it.

Would anyone be interested in setting up such a site? I'll offer to
do it if no one else steps forward, but my html skills are pretty
rudimentary, so it might take a while.

I guess my nominations would be:

-Master Fader
-Render as 32-bit float (Peter Haller mentioned previously this
wouldn't be too hard)
-Automate FX parameters, at least on the FX native to Vegas
-Fix the mono pan 6db volume change
-Midi Clock Sync

It's been said often enough-usually by Sonic Foundry-that Vegas is a
young program with lots of growth. There's no reason that the early
adopters shouldn't be actively involved in shaping its future.

and mine:
pre/post fx send switch
master fx send automation
automation for the input of each effect
Sample Accurate Sync
Hardware Control of All parameters
fix "open copy in sound forge" bug
Buss automation
Fader grouping
multiple grouping feature(remembers groups, not just one group)
