What takes most my time...

What takes most my time is cropping pictures. I try saving a preset, but that changes with each picture ( Depending on the original size of the scan or whatever). I want a script that will crop each picture exactly 1000 wide and 733 high. I can adjust where I want it on the picture later. But my time is spent unlocking the aspect ratio, adjusting the crop so that it all fits in the frame with no black edges, then locking the ratio again and moving where I want the pan. Frustrating. Any help on this?????

What if you open Pan/Crop, right-click the image, and choose "Match Output Aspect"? Does that do what you want? If yes, there are several scripts out there that do that.

If you look at the new 9.0 pro version, it can now default to "Match Output Aspect"!

And when you have cropped one picture, select that picture, right click and choose copy. Then select all other pictures, right click one of them and choose Paste Event Attributes. Then all your pictures are cropped.
