I'm a newbie so this is probably a dumb question... also never played with mp3... but here goes...

If I have an mp3 audio track I want to use in Vegas what do I do? I know it is compressed audio so...

1 - Is there a way to uncompress an mp3 audio file or
2 - Can I just load it into Vegas and it will automatically uncompress it ?
3 - Ditto for SoundFourge - Can you load and edit an mp3 into soundfourge? (Posting this one on that forum too.)
