Basically 'EDIT' and 'PRO' are just the same VEGAS Pro application.

The difference between them are just the included packages.

What @set said. I opt for the Edit version since I already have plugins that I would use. I don't need Soundforge, Primatte (I have it already), and Stream.

The core editing program is exactly the same, @set said. You aren't going to "miss" anything like Color Grade, etc... everything is all there. And with the upgrade price at $90 for Edit, I consider that a "steal"!
