When I put a file in the program it freezes

So I made a video and while I was putting the last song in it, I clicked the song in the files and the program freezed but the rest of the laptop works, I don't know what to do, I didn't save it and I can't do it all again

If you've enabled autosave (Preferences->General->enable autosave), then restart the program and you'll have back all that you have done (except, maybe, the last action).

I don't know if I had enabled the autosave, if I didn't then how do I enable it if Vegas doesn't work?

Maybe "enabled" is the default... try to open a second copy of the program, and check it.

Thanks, it is the default, but I can't close it, it won't close no matter what I press

Use windows' task manager to end this task, then rerun the program
