I suspect you are referring to the "Digital Audio and Video Production" book that incoporates Vegas 4.0 material into it's tutorials. UNOFFICIALLY another user had posted that he was told it would be available around the end of March. Can anyone else confirm that information?

I assume the Spot's book has been atleast finished, as he commented about wishing that he could have added a link to a program posted on the Cow list. Although, I'm not in publishing, so I don't know how long it takes to get from finished text to printed to distributors.
The Vegas Video 4 book shows on the website and I emaile the Novell books that they reference on the webb site and the guy there told me they had the book and it would be online to buy the first of the week. Me and Visa eagerly wait.
I downloaded the user manual Sonic Foundry provides and printed it out using the print on both side of the paper option on my printer. This is a very good resource, quite comprehensive and very detailed. I printed the DVD-A manual also. I chose the use less ink option and it was still very readable. It took about 1 hour to do and I printed it in color. Believe me you won't be sorry if you choose to do this.
I know that DSE has turned the book into the publisher and now it is a waiting game---I think he was hoping for NAB in early April but he was unsure and doesn't know exactly when.
Right here on this website. You can download the manual. Go to home then downloads and check the list under pdf manuals and towards the bottom you will find it. I downloaded it and am keeping it on my machine to read but am going to buy the book form as soon as it is available this week.
bear, im not talking about the manual, im talking about the book that is been released, its indipendant of Sonic , nothing to do with them, thanks for the info though
