Usually works for me, too. But try hitting the Load Markers button above the timeline (in DVDA).

Thanks very much Rob but nothing happens...I'm sure I had the "include markers" box checked on both the mpg (DVDA template) and the .ac3.
Thanks again Rob,
Randy

Same thing happens to me when rendering for Blu-Ray in DVDA5. If I'm rendering for SD, they show up fine. There is a script somewhere...I can't find it right now but it allows Vegas to create a marker file which DVDA can load without having to rerender (from Vegas)...although this only works for me for SD renders...not HD.

The script that jimingo is referring to is on the VASST site somewhere but I can't remember the name of it to save my life :-)

The script is called "SLF (Marker File) Creator"
I can't seem to find it anywhere though...

Well hell... I just rendered again (and the "include markers" box was still checked) and they show up in DVDA now.
Thanks guys,
Randy

Yeah...I just found it on my computer and e-mailed it to you Randy. Better late than never.

Hey, while I have your attention, is there a script that will automatically take those markers and make them into a menu or do we still have to do this manually?
Thanks again amigos,
Randy

I got it Jim, thanks very much bud.
Hey Mike, this sfl creator just got me to wondering if one is supposed to rename the sfl (like the mpg and ac3) ...I mean is that what has the marker info used by DVDA.
I've never had to do this before but curious with the link you provided.
Thanks again,
Randy

Randy, yes, the sfl file contains the marker info and no, you're not supposed to rename it otherwise DVDA will get confused and not know what to do with it.

To answer your other question, there's no script that I'm aware of that will automatically take markers and make them into a menu.
Some things we still have to do the hard way :-)

Actually I was talking about how one has to rename when batch rendering (so that they are the same name so that DVDA recognizes the ac3)...but I guess that's a moot point since the batch render won't save the markers anyway : (
