I just noticed there are some presets in de colour curves fx which seem to emulate film stocks (judging by the names): 3 of them in total...where did they come from?? anymore around?? just tired one on 25p footage from the pana dvx100 and it looks pretty cool...
I'd say they came with Vegas. Take the time to really have a good look around this product. Even though it's passed from the hands of Sonic Foundry they're still not trumpeting it's capabilities anywhere near loud enough.
Hardly a week goes by withour me finding another neat feature buried in this thing. The other thing I like is even though it's a Sony product Vegas was one of (maybe the first?) to offer proper support for 24pA.
Maybe they could have made the workflow more complicated and added heaps more 'in your face' widgets to confuse the unwashed masses and sold it for 5 times the price.

THose would be mine. Along the way you must have installed the Film Looks plug-in/script from JetDV.
THere are more aorund - sort of. Just been too busy to update things. Vegas 5 came out and has a slightly different way of doing things. I have heard from other DVX users the presets look great - which is a goo dhting but I did not test any of te included presets with the DVX100. The included presets were done for basic single chip/ccd cameras.
I have a question about your film stock presets. Would you say the workflow is color-correct the footage first and then add the film stock preset in color curves as an additional part in the fx chain?
