Where did those peaks go?

Captured an HDV clip in Vegas6, but when placed on timeline the audio remains blank and the message "Peaks not available" is displayed. The audio is still there and can be heard.

Another HDV clip in the same project has audio peaks showing normally, so it's not a project setting.

The DV widescreen proxy from the same clip shows audio normally.

Anyone know what's happening?

I had the same thing happen in v6b today, although I was using standard DV files in a DV project. I just hit "Rebuild Audio Peaks" (Shift+F5) and they were there. Strange...

Thanks John - that did it.
Twin Peaks returns.

I've noticed this in various builds of Vegas dating back to version 3, and no rhyme, reason, or repro. F5 is the ticket, but it would be nice to know why these lil' glitches crop up every now and again. Course', I'd like to know the real meaning of life, too. :-)
