Where is Disable FX Window?

Grazie wrote on 10/5/2005, 11:54 PM
When I drag an FX to an Event I get the useful FX Window appearing. But sometimes/often I don't want to have this - I have to keep on closing them down. Where is the exact location that allows us to disable this window/menu?

Hi Grazie

If you hold down Shift while dragging, the window won't open.

That did it! Of course .. .

However Peter, I just noticed that my "Shift" key has gotten kinda sticky and nnot boucing back - no biggie - but after pressing 5 times I got the "Sticky Key" notice. This allows for . . well you read it and say what use it could be? Mine was/is an ACTUAL sticky key.

Never seen this before.

Thanks again . ..

Never had such a message. Sounds like a new spring.... mind you, last time I went out for a new spring, I came back with a new keyboard.

I seem to remember Kojak had a similar problem with sticky keys.

Dose lollipops.

It's use is so that people with only one hand, or possibly even only one finger, can still use a standard keyboard. It means they can type SHIFTed (CTRLed or ALTed) characters without having to make a physical stretch that is impossible for them.

It's one of a number of similar features you can find under "Accessibility Options" in the Control Panel.
