Where is the AC-3 encoder?

I'm trying to render the audio tracks from a project. When I go to "Render as a new track", AC-3 is not there. I have The Vegas®+DVD Production Suite so I should have it.

Vegas 5 cannot read AC3 but you can "render as" a new audio file and see if the AC3 encoder shows up. I bought it back when I was using 4.0d and Vegas 5 fond it and uses it just fo fine.

It defaults at 192. Should I stay with this or go higher. The dvd is home movies set to music.

That'd be quite adequate. You might want to change the line preprocessing to none though.
