Well...uninstalling and re-installing seemed to work (but not after the 1st time) Seems the AI bundle is the Deep Learning modes? Any rate...had to un-install that as well and re-install.

Now...the colorization did work...however hit playback in draft mode on a single track and the computer had a hard crash...NOT the program, but shut the computer off. Seems that's what it does... Ouch!
So....??

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz   3.50 GHz !6 gigs of RAM... not a powerhouse, but should work, correct?

Well, according to Magix you dont meet the requierments. I think the CPU is not such a big hassle, its old but was high end consumer at that time, i assume ram capacity of yours is to low.

Maybe its time for an upgrade.

A .jpg works but not a MP4 . I think you're right as I'm using the onboard graphics card...Intel HD graphics 4600. I don't think that meets specs... oh well.

Before upgrading to a modern computer late last year, my computer was an i7-4770 32 GB RAM. AI, including Colorization, did not work at all.

Well, yes if you use the iGPU of such an outdated CPU the case is closed.
You will have to update, most likely to an Intel 11700k, 11900k. Since the prices for GPUs still are just insane, it would be the best choice and the Intel CPU prices still are very acceptable. I payed 3 Years ago for my 9900k the same as people have to pay for 11900k today.

And also your ram is not even half of the requiered... sooo no AI for you as long as you cant upgrade.

Amazing as the computer still really cranks for audio and plenty of VSTi , etc. Video makes it wimper nowadays. Time flies... Seems like I just bought it too...was a custom build.

If you don't use it, try disabling that Intel GPU in device manager and see if you can at least use it without crashing. 4th generation is getting pretty old these days, though...

Yes... the Ai stuff is really heavy for your PC. It should work for some images but not for movies. This is optimized for Intel CPUs... minimum i7 (6. gen) with 16 GB RAM. I could recommend i9 with minimum 9. generation. In the future we will support the upcoming Intel GPUs with an extreme boost in the performance.
