I ran vegas 4.0 beta from my C:\ drive and it worked fine. I am getting ready to install the production version and wonder if it would be better to install it on my D:\ drive. This is the drive that I have reserved for storing and editing all music and video files. No applications have been installed on it to date. Would it make more sense to have Vegas + DVD on the same drive as the files it will reading and writing on? Or should I accept the default for were it wants to install?
My system: 1.9 Ghz pentium, 1 gig of RAM, C drive is 100 gig, D drive is 120 gig. Both drives are EIDE 7200 rpm.
Any thoughts? I just registered and look forward to learning Vegas video.
