Not to worry, the Cow and SoFo are good buddies...

Bessie hasn't been feeling so hot lately. She's been hiding in the cornfield since last night sometime.

Can't say when she'll be back; but rest assured that Ron, Kath and Curtis are urging her back to the barn with all haste.

More than likely it's the same S.O.B.'s taking down the COW as have been trying to take down our site. the COW sent a letter to all us hosts, looks like they'll be outta milk for a few days at most.

In all seriousness, this site attacking is unbelievable. In a democratic network like the 'net, everyone has the opportunity to express any grievances openly, but it seeems the cowards have open slather. Is there anything we average punters can do?

The sick thing is it could just be an 11 year old smartarse.

I've had several DDoS attacks against vegasusers.com since i launched it a couple of months ago. One of the attacks was severe enough to knock my whole network offline for a day. All of the attackers had recently visited my site from links at http://www.dvworld.com.tw/forum/dvforum and they were all from Taiwanese IP addresses except for one in Nevada. Go figure. What goes on in that forum? I can't read the language, so i have no idea what the posters are saying when they post links to my site. My ISP finally had to put some blocks on a few .com.tw networks which is terribly sad as i'm sure a lot of good folks are now blocked too. But it was the only way to keep lots of websites online for the rest of the world to see.
