Not yet here either. Of course, it's only 4:38am where I live. I installed the full version instead of the trial and it won't run without an actual serial number. Hopefully, I'll get an e-mail today or someone will post the the upgrade discount code here on the forum when they get theirs. I've been up all night, so I guess I'll go to bed and hope that the code is available when I awake.
This question seems to get asked with every new version, usually about 3.1 minutes after it becomes available. The answer is .... patience. From what i've seen, the discount email offers tend to start going out 2 to 4 days later, and some of them don't arrive until 6 to 10 days later. I got my Vegas 7 email 9 days after the release.
It'll come, don't worry. Breathe deep, relax, be patient.
Wouldn't it be better if those of us who are entitled to the upgrade were given the offer automatically when visiting the "My Account" section of the website?
However, according to this area, I am entitled to an upgrade only to Acid. Which I don't want/need/use.
With past releases (e.g. Vegas 7) there was a limited time offer sent out by email with a reduction over the normal upgrade price. That is what we are all hoping to see again this time. Your link was to the "normal" upgrade price.

They have not updated the upgrades in "My Software" yet. That is not the "special" price.
The special offers in the past have been posted right at the top of the Knowledgebase. I remember complaints from people who bought the upgrade right away and then got the email a few days later.
But Vegas 8 has it's first official problem: you can't render to WMA9 with WMP11 installed!
From the Release Notes:
The Windows Media Audio 9 Voice codec is not included with the Windows Media Player 11 update. If you've installed Windows Media Player 11, rendering to Windows Media Audio 9 format will produce an error. For more information, please refer to Knowledge Base article 932390 on the Microsoft Help and Support site.
£134.95 to upgrade on this basis if you only have the ESD components delivered. That is all I can afford as additional charges and waiting aren't something I'd contemplate.

Ordered off of a posting in the forum that listed a found article in the Knowledge Base. Third time now. I wonder when I will get the email offering me this price. (?) So far, using the trial version, I love the automatic timeline resize to show the entire duration of a project. I was hoping that the trial version included full support for all codecs, because I was hoping to see a few more options in the Quick-time category. It appears that they are not enabled (included) to keep the download size down, I assume. I can't wait for the box to arrive. Although, I will be paying hell with the wife, as Corel shipped a new version of Paint Shop Pro at the end of last week. This is an expensive fall!
While logged into these forums as yourself, go to the top border bar and hover over "My Account", click "My Software" and left-click-drag to select your serial number from an earlier version of Vegas. Right click while selected to copy into your clipboard (or "into the mouse" as my wife describes it). Vegas LE doesn't qualify you, and it is also a no for attempting to upgrade from Vegas Media Studio. There are separate SKUs for upgrading from them and I'm not sure if there is a special early-bird incentive for the,.
Then....

Either "control V" or right-mouse-button-paste to put the string into the qualification part of your shopping basket...
payment card at the ready!
I chose the ESD only version, but if you are in the US you may wish to either have the full packaged version or have the installation media and niceties sent to you. If you are outside the US the additional handling costs may be worth incurring. I was hoping to be able to download the full disc contents but nevermind. I'm happy with the price. Even if there is one or a handful of bugs yet to be reported.
Ah, see my wife is a clever cookie. She'd realize that you'd have to remote desktop to that other computer first to leave the pointer over there before you unplugged the mouse itself. We compliment each other nicely, I'm the geek and she is the chique. OK, so actually... she props me up and I'm punching above my weight having bagged her in my hat......but let's not tell her that now please!
