If these are for your own use you should be able to use one of your own copies on additional PCs. Check with SCS to see for sure but I think you can have perhaps up to 10 copies installed so long as you are the sole user.

This is from the Vegas End User License Agreement:

RESTRICTIONS ON USE. You may not: (a) use the Software on more than one computer at a time without purchasing additional licenses,

This has meant, in the past, that Sony will allow you to load and register copies of Vegas on additional computers (the limit is unknown to me) --- as long as you are just using it on one machine at time, For example, your PC at home, your PC at work and a laptop. No problem in registering the software using the same serial number as long as the use is "one computer at a time".
