Which burners support hidden tracks?

According to the VV3 manual, you can create a hidden track on a CD by placing an event before the first track marker on the timeline, assuming "your drive supports burning this material." Apparently, my Plextor 8432T does not. When I try to burn a hidden track (DAO method), I get a message that my drive requires a precise 2-second pause before track 1.

Has anyone successfully burned a CD w/ a hidden track? If so, can you please tell what drive (make and model) you used to burn it? Thanks . . .

This topic has been discussed in the CD Architect forum alot. You might want to search there, to find out more. I believe some Toshiba, or one of those compananies that starts with a "T", supports this kind of burn and it is usually limited to a certain amount of time, like 1 or 2 minutes (sorry my memory fails me on the actual manufacturer or model). From personal experience I can tell you it can't be done with Yamaha, Plextor, or Ricoh CD burners. I have not been able to successfully do it yet, but I'm interested to know for sure what burner will do this type of burn also.
