What are your suggestions for a 1394 card to use with vv3.

Is the pyro basic the same card as the pyro dv 1394?

any OHCI IEEE1394 compliant card will work. Noticed some from Texas Instruments on www.pricewatch.com last week for $14-15+S&H.
