Which HD Camera for Vegas

Trying to decide which camera a Sony HDR AX2000 or a Canon XF100. currently using Vegas 8 and am upgrading my computer to and i7 and windows 7. I get a lot of negative input on both cameras and thought the forum could give me some first hand input.
