Which product to buy?

Probably a FAQ but I'd like to buy just one suite and be done but I can't tell what the difference is between "Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Visual Effects Suite" and "Imagination Studio Suite 3".

Making pictrure and movie slide shows with music but I may want to do more later.

Oh, and I have Adobe Lightroom so I don't need that aspect of Imagination Studio. This kind of makes me lean toward the other one.

Imagination Studio includes Acid, so it is more comprehensive (audio, photo, video).
Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Visual Effects Suite is VMS 11HD Platinum + HitFilm Standard version.
If I had to make a decision between the two, I would go for VMS11 HD Visual Effect Suite.

Yeah that comparison page doesn't help compare those two products.

This one is better but still kind of confusing,

I'm not sure why they can't just make a progressively growing product line so you don't have to try to build a combination to get it all. Seems there's not much you can do to not miss out on something without buying multiple products and forcing a double overlapping purchase.

I have noticed some similitude with the marketing strategy of other similar NLE: a new version is out, then, after about 2/3 of the year, an extended version is released, which bundles the original SW + something else (HitFilm in this case).
It looks like a way to have people buy the product without waiting for the new version.
I have checked some tutorials about HitFilm and started to play with it.
I admit that I know nothing about 3D editing, so many concepts are quite new for me.
Anyway, from what I could grab, I have seen that the Standard version (the one in bundle) allows to take a still picture and create a 3D effect with camera moving, making it alive, like if somebody was moving the camera around the subject.
That's nice, but also require some editing effort, surely not 10 mins...
I haven't checked/found yet if the Standard version makes it possible to get the effect that I am most interested in: applying a 3D camera view on a video clip, giving the impression that the camera is "flying" over the video.
Another plus: the Standard version has some beautiful light effects, that I haven't found in any other "cheap" plug-ins.
On the other side, it seems that with the Standard version is not possible to insert object or elements in a video clip, making them part of the video in a 3D perspective.
That's because only the Ultimate version is able to import a file, generated by expensive SW like Pfoh, that generate the proper information to attach an element in the video clip in the right 3d perspective.
Finally, HitFilm is not a plug-in. It is NOT integrated with VMS.
It is a stand-alone program, so anything done there shall be rendered and imported into the VMS project.
That's a pity because an integration between the two SW would have surely been a plus.
