Hello,

I need to do the following:

Playback DV video (via firewire), 2 tracks of audio AND send out midi patch change messages.

I intially thought Vegas, but abandoned the idea due to lack of midi support. I turned to Calkwalk's Sonar program. Sonar's video support is terrible. The program is clearly not designed for any video work.

Will Sound Forge send out a midi patch change? How is Sound Forges video support? Or how about using Vegas to send a midi clock to sequencer?

Thoughts?
