Which Sound Cards Do Y'all Recommend?

bassobasso wrote on 8/17/2000, 11:39 AM
Please recommend a sound card to use for one or two
simultaneous inputs? Currently I don't need multiple
simultaneous inputs--I can get by with one because I'm
multitracking with my Roland VS-880EX, and loading the
tracks to Vegas.

I'm trying the demo version of Vegas 2. I'm running NT 2000.

Thanks,

PE

Peter-

Try the Delta 66 or the new Delta 44 from M Audio:
Both have breakout boxes allowing 1/4" inputs, and you can record
stereo or mono (4 tracks mono at a time if you decide to later).
Also, 24bit 96khz. I use the 66, have had no problems with Vegas.
Installed easy, and they should have 2000 drivers.

Good luck and good recording...

Jeff.

Just be carefull with the Delta cards if you are planning on running
dual processors under Win2K ... their Win 2K drivers do not support
dual processors at this point.

KAC ...
