Which to get?

I downloaded the demos for vegas audio and video to try them out. I've heard good things and want to buy at least one, but when I install vegas video it installs over audio. is there some reason the 2 cant coexist, and if not, which is the better buy?

Vegas Audio is a subset of Vegas Video (all Audio features are in Vegas Video) and the two cannot coexist on the same machine.

The question I have is: Why does Vegas Audio even exist?

Seems like the way to go for audio AND Video is with Vegas Video.

Uhm, I had the two co-existing on my machine for the longest while. If you select what directory you want to install into, I cannot imagine why you could not have the two co-exist, or two versions of VV for that matter.

Please explain.
