which Vegas product?

I have Sound Forge 9 for all of my audio editing. I am looking for a program that will allow me to separate the audio from an existing dvd so I can then edit it in Sound Forge. Will all of the Vegas Movie Studio products allow me to do this? I will not be working on dvds with copy protection on them.

Yes, you can do that with Vegas, but there are free utilities out there I believe that will also be able to do that.

Thanks. I'll see what I can find that is free. If I am not able to find something I am comfortable working with, at least I know I can use Vegas for this. The basic studio version is rather low-priced so it isn't as though I will break the bank, but better free if possible.

You can import the video, and then select the section you want, and render only the audio on the loop region
