White Balance Problem

I video taped a dance recital where the stage lights were not balanced. There are a lot of hot spots and cold spots. It depends on where the dancer is standing to be in a bloom or a good white balance. Unfortunately this was not observed during the performance. I was wondering if anybody has any way to fix the problem or at least fix it a little to make it more acceptable. I have Vegas Pro 8.

"Bloom" vs. "good white balance;" do you mean over-exposed vs. properly exposed? If so, there probably isn't much you can do about the over exposed shots. If the video is clipped there isn't much there to work with.

I believe this has been addressed more than once in threads on the Forum, so you might search to see what you can find. I believe there may be a tutorial dealing with this on the VASST web site as well.

If "bloom" refers to a lack of white balance, then you should be able to fix this using the Levels, Color Correction and Curves tools.
