In a previous post I was seeking some advice on a problem that may have never existed..
In multicam editing I was (Thinking) I was seeing a white horizontal line flash upward at each edit point.. Also realizing after performing several more tests that I was getting way too happy with the finger when change camera angles.. There were inconsistent frame lengths, some as short as 1-2 seconds.
During the subsequent tests I changed my habits and created some imaginary frame lengths of 5-30 seconds as if it were scripted.
I couldn't get a white line to show up to save my life..
The other crazy thought I had was shooting in 60i may have presented the white line at the edit point with the separation of the upper field from the lower giving me 2 half frames at the edit point.. I'm probably wrong on that too.. Or is that possible.. Please advise if that has any validity.
Never the less, I'm always on the fence when it comes to 60i versus 60p.
I am always trying to learn what I am doing wrong so that I can improve my work flow.
Any opinions on this matter would be well received.
