white noise reduction on audio sound track.

I have now learned the principles of white noise reduction in Audio using sound processing plugins and editors. Some of my video needs to be processed differently to others but I would like to have a go at processing large chunks of my project instead of for each clip. Best of all perhaps I can use an envelope for processing which I can vary as a go along the track.

Vegas Movie Studio does not have Audio FX envelopes. It does have Volume/Pan.
Again, just how are you achieving "white noise reduction"?

Oh, I get it new you're asking a question, not making a statement that you did something.

I use NewBlue's Noise Reducer plugin to get rid noise. You can probably render the audio out to a .wav file and use Audacity to clean it up.

Explain what noise you are trying to fix? Are you asking in general terms or do you have a specific problem?

As musicvid pointed out, Movie Studio doesn't have FX envelopes, nor does it have even the most basic of Noise Reduction plugins. However, you can use Track FX plugins like Noise Gate and Equalize to minimize constant background hums or buzzes, etc. for the entire length of your project.

You normally have the best results by exporting a copy of your audio to an editor that has noise reduction capabilities. As mentioned, Audacity is a good basic free editor. If you have Nero, it also comes with an editor that does good noise reduction. Audition is outstanding if you can get an old version.

To get better feedback, you need to state specifically what you are trying to do.
