Who will be the first to install Windows+Vegas on a Macmini/MacBook computer ?

I'd be curious to see render speed tests, especially on the MacMini, could be an interesting render farm option. A few of them stacked in a closet that act as a render farm/storage server.

Edit : I know the macminis aren't the cheapest available but i'd still be curious to know about rendering performance.

From what I understand, Windows cant be installed on Mac's yet because Mactel's use the secuirty bios chip that reads on bootup and Windows wont support that option for a few years yet.

Be nice if we could though.

100% of the drivers are working for the mini and the MacBook pros only lack the video drivers but they are working hard on it.

Doh, see, thats what happens when they keep me locked up in a classroom all day. LOL.

Maybe Ill get to use some budget $$$ next year for a MacBook Pro.

I really cannot see the attraction in doing this.
You're basically paying an extra $1000 for half eaten apple logo.
For less money you can buy a faster machine, for the same money you can buy a MUCH faster machine.

Bob : I know it's not cheap, I just like the form factor. I do a lot of multimedia installations and this type of size is nice. The fact I can install both Windows and OSX on it is a big plus also as some customers need OSX.

Between, not sure I follow you on the extra 1000$, the macmini is 799$ and comes with nice features like Gigabit ethernet, wifi, bluethoot etc. 799$ is not cheap for a computer but then, you also pay to have a small machine.
