Why are the titles so jerky?

I edited a movie a while back with titles and it rendred smoothly, now for some reason I did some basic titles with some music, then added video after that, but the titles are sooooo jerky, like the sound skips each beat, but the video is fine. I have a 256 800MHZ processor

What file types are your sound source files? It's been reported that sometimes putting MP3 files directly on the timeline can cause problems. If you're using MP3 files, try rendering them out to .wav files first, then using the .wav versions in your project.

BINGO! Thats what's different, I was too lazy and didn't even think about rendering it to WAV! Thanks cheinworks!
