Why do I keep getting ads?

VP23. I keep getting an ad for color grading in VP23 tutorial. I have selected don't show this ad again, but it keeps popping up. I don't want to disable ads altogether. How do I get this ad to stop showing up?

Videos come from 2 x Sony HDR CX-405 Cameras, XAVC-S MP4 @ 50Mbps 1080P 60fps video files. (Previously: 2 x Canon HFR800 cameras, MP4 files at 1920 x 1080 60p 35Mbps).

Still happening. I've already told the program TWICE to stop showing me this ad. It's getting frustrating.

That does not seem to work indeed, I also got annoyed by it to no end!
However, there is a more permanent way in the preferences:
