Why does DVDA "sometimes" create a m2v file?

Sometimes, not always, when DVDA prepares the folder and files for burning, I end up with a .m2v file.

Why does this happen? In the most recent case, all I had was one mpg video clip and one ac3 audio file. Both were rendered from Vegas.

Maybe not so much "tough" but possibly "no one else has seen this". You sure the M2V file didn't get rendered from Vegas or some other program? DVDA would have no reason to produce one as it can't even read elementary streams.

I presume it's coming from DVDA because when it sets up for a DVD creation, it puts everything in the folder that the program was set up for. There is a very slight possibility that the file ended up getting over there by some other program. I'll keep my eye on this to see if it happens again.
