Possibly due to the extra cpu load of CDA5 - it is geared up for 'doing' a hell of a lot more than Nero wrt processing plugins, normalisation, fades, levels, etc.

Also is *may* be a restriction put in on purpose, as burning audio CDs while possibly successful is not generally accepted as being a good idea at higher speeds. I find 8x best on my PlexWriter 12/4/32, and 40 speed LiteOn.

I burn ok at 12 speed...but why there are high speed recording if no can write correctly at full speed!

That relates to writing data - not continous unbroken (unbreakable !) streamed audio . Just like maximium digital audio extraction rate is not the same as the max read-speed.
