Why upgrade from Vegas LE?

Okay, I know LE only has 8 tracks, but how much more does Vegas 2.0 actually do compared to LE? Is it really worth the extra cash? BTW, I only record and edit audio, I have no interest whatsoever in video editing.

Hello,
You can see the differences when you select Products from the taskbar at the top of this window on your left. Then select Software/ Vegas Le/ Comparison Chart. There you'll see the differences. It's up to you if the extras in 2.0 are worth the purchase price.

I use Vegas Audio, and I don't do much video either. The extras are unlimited tracks, and effects, and sampling rate is much better, and multiple sound card support, to name a few. But the most important for me is the extra tracks, sound card support, and higher sampling rate. I'm very happy with Vegas Audio.

But I guess you have to have some equipment to justify the upgrade, Like if your just using a sound blaster, you really don't need the higher rate or multiple outputs. My computer connects to alot of external equipment and I need the extras.
