Why VV4 + DVD

Looking for a little assistance....I'm considering the purchase of VV4 + DVD...having a new system built (finally)and it appears that VV4 is the editing software I have selected. What about the DVD authoring software. Looking for input on usability, features, good stuff, not so good stuff, etc. This is my first venture into DVD creation, so I really need some help. Planning on using the Sony DRU DVD burner....if anyone has any thoughts on the Sony, that would be helpful, also. (I already am aware that the "bundled" software sorta sucks)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
