Why won't this fit on a DVD ??

I'm starting this as a new thread as I've created a new very simple project and maybe this will help find out what is going on...

I've got the following in my new DVDA project...

1 Menu... the Main Menu
1 Icon... that will start my movie
1 background audio file... 12 second ac-3 file

Here are file sizes

MyMovie.mpg = 2,972,888,000
MyMovie.ac-3 = 94,972,000
DVD Intro Audio = 282,000

DVDA tells me that the "Total size of all menus is greater than the maximum of 1GB"

I have only one Menu... the Main Menu... with no background pic... only the 12 second background file!!

If I remove the 12 second background audio file from the project it is fine...

I don't get it.

Can anyone tell me what is going on???

Check to see what length you have set for your menu. If auto is not checked and you accidently set too long a menu length you could have this problem. I just set a long length for my menu and got the message "Total size of all menus is greater than the maximum of 1GB". Hope this helps.
