Widescreen monitor

If I am going to view my computer on a widescreen monitor, do I need a special video card? Thanks

Possibly. I had to replace my old card when I purchased the DELL 2405 monitor (1920x1200 resolution). So... no all cards support every resolution. You will need to check.
