I'm doing my first widescreen movie (photo montage) for an x-mas present this year. I have both video and still photos.
I've set my project settings to "NTSC Widescreen 16:9". I've also gone in to the Event Pan/Crop settings on each piece of video footage and selected the "Widescreen 16:9" preset (i know it will be cropped....I'm fine with that.....cropped is OK...but don't want it stretched nor do I want pillar boxes).
I'm using the VASST StillMotion script to import the stills and I checked the "Match Output Size" so the pictures appear to be taking up the full screen on my preview window.
Is this all I need to do? When I render the final version I will be sure to select one of the "Widescreen" options.
Am I missing anything or should this give me a good widescreen picture.
