Wierd video importing problem with Sony Vegas 14

When i import a video into Sony Vegas Pro it will have an odd contrast or tint . For example when I insert a recording of cs:go gameplay the footage in preview (and once rendered) will look like this: http://imgur.com/a/Su9QA where as the video it self (the mp4 recording) will look absolutely fine.Further more, the video will also look fine in this window: http://imgur.com/a/898oB. I tried re-installing which did fix it the first time but then after some time the problem occurred and re-installing did not fix it. There are no video effects that i am aware of that would cause the video to look like this.

Go to File / Properties and set the View transform to Off. Unfortunately, there is no way to make that the default (I tried many times), so you have to do it every time you create a new project. 😵
