Wii video with VMS9 Platinum

Does anyone know if you can use VMS 9 to render video for play on a Wii?

From the factory Wii cannot play DVDs - but with some hacks (google for "Wii DVD" from the last year) it can learn it - and then it should be able to play (some) DVDs - probably also one from VMS.
